Hi,

The weather forecast for Sunday is that it will be a clear and beautiful day with a strong south-easter blowing. We'll avoid most of the effects of the wind by running the so-called Centurion route, that is, from the old zoo car park towards Constantia Nek and back.

Meet at: The old zoo car park just off Union Ave, and at the bottom of the road leading to Rhodes Memorial;
Start at: 06h30. N.B. Note new starting time
Distance: 17 - 20 km depending on how much the majority want to do
Pace: 5:20 to 5:30 min/km
Route: From the car park along Union Ave, up Boshof Ave, Rhodes Ave to Kirstenbosch top gate, then into Cecelia plantation towards Constantia Nek. On the way back, after Kirstenbosch, we can choose to go back via tar roads or the gravel roads of Kirstenbosch and Newlands forest.
